Rev. Elizabeth Brinegar

Elizabeth Gabbard Brinegar, was raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Lyon College (Batesville, AR) and her Master of Divinity at Columbia Theological Seminary (Decatur, GA). She has worked as a solo pastor, college chaplain, non-profit administrator, and interim pastor. Elizabeth also teaches in the English and Religion departments at Lyon College. She serves the Presbytery of Arkansas as the moderator of the Committee on Preparation for Ministry; She has also served as the moderator of the Synod of the Sun and as a delegate to General Assembly. Elizabeth lives in Searcy, Arkansas with her husband, Blake, who is the pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Searcy. They have two dogs and two cats, none of whom have any manners. In her spare time she enjoys reading, crafting, and cheering on the Hogs.

Kay Johnston - Office Assistant

Kay was born and raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Through the years she has worked in various law offices. In 2015, she moved to Arkansas and began work as our office assistant in March 2016. If you drop by the office, you’ll see her sweet, constant companion service dog named Karma.

Alex Turner - Director Of Music Ministries

Alex Turner, BACM, MA, is our Director of Music Ministries In his role at PHPC, Alex oversees all things music and liturgy, including the Sanctuary and Handbell Choirs. In his free time, you can find Alex reading historical non-fiction, trying a new restaurant, or composing a hymn!

Park Hill is grateful to have as its Associate Director of Music Hunter Howell. Hunter is an accomplished tenor who brings such vitality and warmth to the music ministry of PHPC. In his position here, Hunter works with the Sanctuary and Handbell Choirs and oversees our choral scholar program.
